Within Teamwork, you can generate a range of different reports across all areas of your project.




Project report

You can generate a project report via the project details panel on the left of the project's Overview tab.

Scroll to the Project Report section. Click the View project report option.

The project report is designed to give you an overview of all items within your project, including milestones, task lists and tasks.

  • Task lists associated with a milestone will be grouped together.
  • Milestones - You will see the milestone name, description, due date, who is responsible, status, number of days late, date completed
  • Tasks - You will see the task name, description, start date, due date, assigned, date created, priority progress, status, estimated time, logged time, billable time.

Tasks are color coded to indicate if the item is completed, active or late.



The project report can be exported in PDF format.



Activity export

In the Activity subsection of a project's Overview area, you can export a report of activities on the project.

Click the options button (three dots) in the top right of the Activity area. Once you hover over the Export option, you can choose Excel as the export type.

The activity export is a report listing all the activity happening across items on your project that you can see in the Overview tab.


Task lists report

You can also create a report of all task lists in your project.

In the Tasks area of your project, click the three dots in the upper right corner. Hover over the Reports option to access the Task Lists Report.

You can then select what you want to be included in the report.

The task lists report is a report on all the tasks in that project. You can filter which tasks are shown in the report from the Which Tasks tab.

You can export the report in PDF or Excel format.

Individual task list report


Within your project, you can generate a report of all tasks in a particular task list.

Hover over the task list and click the three dots to the right of the task list name. In the dropdown menu, hover over Reports and select the Task List Report option.

You can then select what you want to be included in the report.

Task list time report

The task list time report shows how much time has been estimated and logged on tasks in the specific task list. 

Hover over the task list and click the three dots to the right of the task list name. In the dropdown menu, hover over Reports and select the Time Report option.

This report can be exported in CSV or Excel format.

Task report


You can generate a printable version of an individual task in your project, which will include all logged time, comments, and activity for the task.

In the Tasks area of your project, click the task name to open the task details view.

Click the options button (three dots) and select Printable Version from the dropdown menu.

You can choose PDF or HTML for the printable version.

Time report

In your project's Time tab, you can generate a report of all time entries for your project.

Click the options button (three dots) in the top right corner and hover over the Export option in the dropdown menu. You can then select the relevant export format.

Note: If you have filters applied in the Time area before exporting, only those items will be included in the report.


Filter options:

  • User or company
  • Date
  • Tags
    • Time logs with the selected tag(s)
    • Time logged on tasks with the selected tag(s)
  • Billable and/or non billable
  • Invoiced and/or non invoiced
  • Custom columns - choose which columns to include in the report
    • Date, project, who logged time, description, tags, attached task list, start/end time, billable, billed, time taken, hours taken, estimated time.

You can export the report to Excel, PDF or CSV.



Milestone report

You can generate a report for the milestones on your project.

In the Milestones area of your project, click the options button (three dots) in the top right and hover over the Export option. You can then choose an export format.

You can use the advanced filters in the Milestones tab to first filter what you want to include in the export.

Export Options:
  • PDF (Calendar) - export milestones in a calendar view
  • PDF (Agenda) - export milestones in a list view
    • This report also includes any task lists attached to the milestones, as well as the corresponding milestone completion percentage
  • Excel file exports a list of all Milestones and their details.
  • iCal feed creates a Webcal link which you can add to your external calendar so that Milestones from this project will appear in your external calendar.

Note: The milestone report can also be generated for your archived projects.



Risks

A risk register is where you plan what your response will be if a risk materialises into an actual issue. 

In the Risks area of your project, click the options button (three dots) in the top right. In the dropdown menu, hover over Export and select the relevant export option.

You can use the advanced filters in the Risks tab to first filter what you want to include in the export.

The Risks Report can be exported in Excel and PDF format.



Links

You can export a list of links from your project. You can choose to export all links from the project, or from a particular category you have created.

Go to the Links area of your project and click the options button (three dots) in the top right. In the dropdown menu, select the Export Links option.

People

You can export a list of all users and contacts on a particular project, along with their details.
 
Go to the People tab of your project and click the options button (three dots) in the top right. In the dropdown menu, select the Export to Excel option.
