Connect the tools your team already uses, so files, invoices and sign-ins work together with Teamwork.com.
What | Set up the integrations that matter most to your team: sign-in, file storage, accounting and automation. |
Why | Fewer tools to switch between, and no retyping invoices or re-uploading files. |
Who | Site owners and site administrators. Some project-level integrations can also be turned on by project administrators. |
This is step 8 of 8 in the Owner and Administrator onboarding path. About 20 minutes.
Connect your tools
Start with the integrations your team will use every day. You can add others later. For the full list, see Integration Options.
Connect | Why | Start here |
|---|---|---|
Sign-in | Let people sign in with their work account. | Google Sign In, or SSO with Okta, Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace or AD FS |
File storage | Attach files from where they already live. | |
Accounting | Send invoices to your accounting software. | |
Calendar and email | See work alongside meetings and email. | |
Automation | Create tasks and projects from your other apps. | |
AI assistants | Work with Teamwork.com from Claude or ChatGPT. |
Tip: If you plan to use Google Sign In or SSO, set it up before you invite your team in step 7, so everyone signs in the same way from day one.
Turn on file storage for each project
Storage integrations are turned on for your site first, then for each project that needs them. See Enabling the Google Drive Integration on Your Projects and Enabling the Dropbox Integration on Your Projects.
Done when
- Your team can sign in the way you chose.
- Your file storage and accounting tools are connected.
You have finished the Owner and Administrator path. Your site is set up and your team is in. If you also run projects, continue with the Project Manager path.
