Best for
Completed Tasks view is best for
reviewing finished work, checking
delivery history, and exporting
completed tasks across projects.
Use when
You want to review what
has already been completed rather
than manage active work.
Before you
start
The Everything area shows items from all
projects you have permission to access.
Completed Tasks view is designed for
reviewing finished work, not managing active
work.
You can open a completed task to view more
details and take some follow-up actions, but
some task properties may be restricted while
the task remains in a completed state.
Your permissions determine:
- Which completed tasks you can view.
- Whether you can log time on a completed
task.
- Which actions
are available from the task details
panel.
Quick start
- Click Everything in the main
navigation and select the Completed
Tasks tab.
- Use sorting or filters to narrow the list
to the completed work you want to
review.
- Click a task name to open its details, or
export the list if you need to share or
report on completed work.
Once the list is set up, you can review
completed tasks across projects without
opening each project individually.
You can review completed tasks here in a
similar way to a project-level completed task
list, with access to additional details
through the task details panel based on your
permissions.
Use the
Completed Tasks view
Understand the
layout
Completed Tasks view displays finished tasks
from all accessible projects in a structured
list. This makes it easier to review completed
work across projects in one place.

Open task details
Click a task name to open the task details
panel.
From there, you can review task information,
comments, files, logged time, and other task
details. Some properties may be restricted
while the task is still marked as
completed.

Log time
You can log time on a completed task using
the clock icon shown in the list, where
available.
This is useful when time needs to be recorded
after the task has already been
completed.

Sort tasks
Use the sort dropdown to organize completed
tasks in the order most useful for your
review.
Sorting helps you scan completed work more
efficiently before opening tasks or exporting
the list.

Filter tasks
Use the Filters button in the top
right to open the advanced filters pane and
narrow the list of completed tasks.
Filtering is useful when you want to review a
specific set of completed tasks before opening
them or exporting the list.
Export completed tasks
Use the Export button near the top
right of the page to export the list of
completed tasks.
You can export completed tasks to PDF or
Excel for reporting, record-keeping, or
sharing outside Teamwork.com.

Limitations
- You only see completed tasks from projects
you have permission to access.
- There is no inline editing from the
Completed Tasks list.
- Some task properties may be restricted
while a task is in a completed
state.
- Completed Tasks
view is designed for review and export,
not active task management.
Best practices for
Completed Tasks view
- Filter before exporting: Narrow the
list first so exports contain only the
completed work you need.
- Use sorting to review efficiently:
Sort completed tasks in a way that makes
review easier before opening individual
tasks.
- Open task details when needed: Use
the task details panel to review
supporting information such as comments,
files, and logged time.
- Use this view for review, not active
management: Switch to Tasks,
Table, or Board when you need to manage
work that is still in progress.
- Log time when
needed: Use the clock icon if time
still needs to be recorded after
completion.
