Within Teamwork Projects, you can use tags to quickly categorize and organize your project items, such as tasks, milestones, and files.
In your Projects site, you can add tags to:
- Time logs
Just look for the tag icon next to the item name.
When you click the tag icon, you will be able to select one of the existing tags from the list that appears. If you have more than 10 tags, you can click the All Tags link to show the full list.
You can also search for an existing tag, or create a new one, by typing in the Add Tag field at the top of the tags list.
The creation of new tags may be unavailable depending on your site settings.
Note: Tags are limited to 25 characters. If you add a tag longer than this, it will be shortened. There is a limit of 8 tags per item; Tasks, Milestones, Messages, File, Time logs, Notebooks, Links, Projects.
If you are creating a task, you can also add the shortcode
#tagnameto the task name to tag the task quickly.
If you are logging time on the desktop timer or using the log time button on the time section of a project, you can also use the shortcode
#tagnamein the description to add the tag.
