Within Teamwork, you can use the projects chart for a Gantt-style view of your projects, highlighting any milestones on the project timeline.
Go to the Planning area at the top of your site and select the Chart tab.
To show the projects chart, add start and end dates to at least 2 projects and update the filter to the right includes the relevant timeframe.
Note: Only projects with start and end dates will show on the chart.
The bar for each project will be coloured based on the status of the project:
- Red : This means that the project end date has been reached but there are uncompleted items in the project. The project is considered late.
- Green: The project has been marked as complete.
- Blue: The end date has not been reached and the project is considered 'current'.
The color associated with a project will depend on the project category.
If you hover over the project bar, you will see more project details and an option to edit the start and end dates directly.
The markers for milestones are also color coded based on whether they are complete (green), late (red) or upcoming (orange).
If you hover over each milestone, you will see more details and a quick view option (if there's more than one milestone due on the same date, you'll see them all listed here).
Using quick view, you can view and edit the milestone directly without leaving the chart view.
In the projects list on the left, you will see the category color to the far left, and you can access the project options menu to make changes without leaving the projects chart. Hover over a project name and click the options button (three dots) to the right.
You can also use the arrows to the right of the project name to automatically scroll and zoom to that project on the chart.
You can also print your project chart or generate an activity report. To print, click the printer icon in the top right of the chart.
Note: Collaborators can view the projects chart but do not have edit permissions.
