When the exclude weekends setting is turned on, Saturdays and Sundays are blocked from selection across the project's task date pickers in the following views:
⚠️ Exclude weekends blocks Saturdays and Sundays from selection once it is turned on. It does not retroactively automatically alter existing tasks' dates if they currently fall on weekend days.

Change dates with dependencies

Tasks that have active dependencies (subtasks or dependent tasks) have additional date management options in the date picker.

If you select to also adjust subtasks or dependents, the associated tasks' dates are adjusted by the same number of days the main task is being moved by. When exclude weekends is enabled, these adjusted dates also ensure the new dates do not fall on Saturdays or Sundays.
