Time blocks

Time blocks are intended to reflect time working on a particular task or project. Plan your work day by blocking off periods of focus. Once your work is complete, convert the time block to a time log to make sure all of your time is accounted for.

  • Time blocks are time-based and cannot be created in the all-day panel.
  • Time blocks must be associated with a project. They can (optionally) be associated with a specific task in that project.
  • You can create overlapping time blocks.
  • Use the task planner to create time blocks for any tasks regardless of whether their start and due dates fall in the period being viewed.

πŸ“– Learn about creating and managing time blocks.

Tasks

Your assigned tasks are displayed in the all-day panel at the top of the calendar view.

  • Tasks with start and due dates show on every day within the task's duration.
  • Tasks with due dates but no start dates only show on the due date.
  • Each day shows a maximum of four tasks.
    • Click the arrow on the all day section's left to expand the view. Alternatively, click more on a day to expand.
