Quick answer: To add Advanced Security, click your profile icon, select Subscription, click Manage plan, toggle on Add advanced security? under Add-ons, and complete checkout. It adds Single Sign-on (SSO) via SAML, a network access policy for IP addresses and email domains, and automatic log out. It's available on paid per-user plans.

How do I add the Advanced Security add-on?

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of Teamwork.com's main navigation menu and select Subscription.
  2. On the Plan management tab, click Manage plan on your current plan's card.
  3. Click Manage plan under your current plan again to personalize it.
  4. Toggle on Add advanced security? under Add-ons.

  5. Check the Order Preview panel to confirm the added cost.
  6. Click Continue and complete the remaining checkout steps to confirm the change.

What does Single Sign-on (SSO) include?

Set up custom Single Sign-on (SSO) via Security Assertion Mark-up (SAML).

What is the network access policy?

Manage access to your site based on:
  • IP: Restrict access to your Teamwork.com site to specific IP addresses that are approved by you and your team.
  • Domain: Prevent invitations to your site being sent to specific email domains.
📝 This setup requires you to send an email to security@teamwork.com with the relevant information.

How does automatic log out work?

Set an automatic logout period for all users: 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours.
  •  You can manage automatic log out from general site settings.

⚠️ The Advanced Security add-on does not support Single Log Out (SLO) using SAML the way it supports Single Sign-on (SSO).
  • The automatic log out feature's purpose is to log users out of Teamwork.com only. It does not log users out of your Identity Provider via Teamwork.com (or vice versa).
  • The automatic logout feature is not related to the SSO feature.
