Within Teamwork Desk, you can set your own spam rules to ensure that mail from certain senders is always or never marked as spam.
Note: By default, Teamwork Desk uses a spam detection and filtering server. Our system will prioritize the allowed list over the blocked list. Therefore, if you block a domain such as @helpdocs.com but allow a user such as firstname.lastname@example.org, emails from email@example.com will come through to your site because it is allowed even though the domain of @helpdocs.com is blocked as a whole.
Click your profile icon in the top right of the main navigation bar and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Note: The site settings are only accessible to administrators of your site.
In the settings area, go to the General subsection and select Spam Control from the left navigation pane.
Using the text fields, you can add new addresses to your allowed or blocked lists. Add the IP address to the field and click Add to save.
The characteristics that Desk implements for both lists are as follows:
- Specific email address (firstname.lastname@example.org)
- Email domain (spam.com)
- Subject (Anymore of that spam?)
- IP address of original sender (127.0.0.1)
- Match all senders, ensuring that no e-mail is ever automatically marked as spam (*)
