Within Teamwork Desk, site administrators can delete customers from your site at any time.

Go to the People area at the top of your site and select the Customers subsection.

Note: Deleting a customer is permanent and can not be undone.

From the list of existing customers, select the one you wish to delete. Clicking the customer will open their profile details view.

In the customer's profile, click the Edit Profile button in the upper right corner.

At the bottom of the edit view, click the Delete Customer link.

Once you click delete, a confirmation modal will open asking you to confirm whether you want to proceed with the deletion.

Note: If the customer has existing tickets already submitted to your Desk site, the tickets will also be removed immediately when the customer is deleted. These tickets will not be moved to the trash can.

Bulk deleting customers

In the Customers area, you can quickly bulk delete multiple or all customers.

Select the the checkbox to the left of each of the customers you would like to delete.

If you have a long list of customers that runs across multiple results pages, your selection will be maintained as you navigate between the pages, allowing you to select any relevant customers.

To bulk select customers at once, use the checkbox in the customers list header row. When you select the checkbox, all customers on the current page of results will be selected.

You can also use the arrow to the right of the checkbox to access additional multi-select options:

  • All on this page
  • All (total count)
  • None

Click the trash can icon at the top of the list to delete the selected customers. 





You can also quickly clear your current selection by clicking the Clear selection option in the top right of the Customers view.

When bulk deleting customers, you will be shown a confirmation modal after clicking the trash can. This modal will outline the number of customers to be deleted as well as warning of the deletion of their associated data (tickets, live chat conversations, etc.)

You will need to select the I understand the consequences checkbox before being able to click Yes, permanently delete to complete the process.
