Within Teamwork Desk, you can set your own spam rules to ensure that mail from certain senders is always or never marked as spam.

By default, Teamwork Desk uses a spam detection and filtering server. Our system will prioritize the allowed list over the blocked list.

Therefore, if you block a domain such as @helpdocsite.com but allow a user such as lee@helpdocsite.com, emails from lee@helpdocsite.com will still come through to your site because it is allowed even though the domain of @helpdocsite.com is blocked as a whole.

Teamwork Desk spam control

Teamwork Desk implements the following for both allowed and blocked IP lists:
  • Specific email address (ex. spammers@spam.com)
  • Email domain (ex. "spam.com")
  • Subject (ex. "Anymore of that spam?")
  • IP address of original sender (ex. 127.0.0.1)
  • Match all senders, ensuring that no e-mail is ever automatically marked as spam (*)
