Within Teamwork CRM, you can create custom lost and won reasons for opportunities as well as lost reasons for leads.
To add custom fields to your
leads and opportunities, click your
profile in the top right corner of your
site and select Settings from the
dropdown.
Select the Lead & opportunity tab of the Customize forms subsection of the site settings.
Opportunity won reasons
You can use the default options or create new custom reasons to categorize opportunities when they are marked as won.
Toggle on the Mandatory switch in the top left to make submitting a reason a requirement when an opportunity is won.
To add a new custom reason, click the Add reason button in the top right. In the pop-up modal, you can then enter the text name for the reason before clicking Save.
Once won reasons have been created, they can then be specified when you are editing existing opportunities that have already been marked as won.
If opportunity won reasons are marked as mandatory, a pop-up modal will appear each time a user tries to mark an opportunity as won. They will be required to select a won reason and have the option to add a description. Clicking Save will update the opportunity, marking it as won.
Opportunity and lead lost reasons
In the Lead and opportunity area, you will also see two subsections for opportunities lost and leads lost.
Similarly to opportunities won, you can utilize the default reasons and create new custom ones.
To add a reason, click the green Add reason button in the top right. In the pop-up modal, you can then enter the text name for the reason before clicking Save.
In all sections, the default
and custom reasons can be edited or
deleted from the options menu (three dots)
to the right of the reason name.
