Within Teamwork Chat, you can convert existing conversations into channels.
When viewing the conversation, select the setting cog to the top right of the conversation.
At the top, you will see an option to Convert to channel.
Once you select convert, a Convert to channel modal will open. Here you can add a channel title and description.
You can also use the Link this channel to an existing Teamwork Projects project option, which will convert the conversation to a Project Channel.
Select the Automatically add new users to this channel checkbox if you want all new users to be added to the channel.
You can set the channel visibility to private or public. Users can only access private channels by being added by an administrator. Public channels are searchable and users can join themselves.
Once the channel is created, you will see the channel title on the sidebar and also on channel header.
Note: Only conversations with two or more people, as well as the creator, can be converted to a channel.
