Within Teamwork Spaces, you can mange
existing page templates via the settings
area.
Go to the Home area of your site and click the Templates option at the bottom of the left navigation pane.
Note: All users on your site have access to the Templates area and can create templates.
The page templates area is grouped into two sections:
- Custom templates - templates built from scratch.
- Template gallery - pre-defined templates created by Teamwork.
- Note: Gallery templates cannot be edited or deleted.
You can use the filter field
at the top of the Templates area to search for specific
template names. The results in both subsections will automatically update based on the search term.
When you hover over a template card, you can click Use template to create a new page from the template or use the Preview option to view the template contents.
Editing a custom template
For existing custom templates, you can edit the template by clicking the edit pencil at the bottom of the template card. This will open the template editor where you can update the template name and contents.
Note: Only the creator of the
template or an admin can edit a custom template.
You can then update the template
contents and click Save to
update the template.
When you edit a template, it will
not affect any of the pages that have already used the
template.
Deleting a template
To delete an existing custom template, click the trash can icon at the bottom of the template card.
Note: Only the creator of the
template or an admin can delete a
template.
A confirmation modal will open where
you can confirm that you want to delete the
template.
When you delete a template, it will
not affect any of the pages that have used the
template.
Note: Deleted page
templates cannot be restored.
