Within Teamwork.com, you can use Teamwork Chat without having to navigate away from your work.

The integration must first be enabled via the settings in your Teamwork Chat account.

If you do not have an existing Teamwork Chat account, you can enable it through your integration settings in Teamwork.com to start a trial. After your trial you will need to subscribe to a paid Teamwork Chat plan in order to use this feature.

Note: Teamwork.com accounts using the Deliver/Grow subscription tier have access to Teamwork Chat as part of their subscription.

Once enabled, you will see a Chat icon at the bottom of Teamwork.com's main navigation menu.

Selecting the Chat icon opens a slide out panel with your conversations and channels.

View an existing conversation or channel

Conversations and channels are grouped into Recent and Unread tabs.

Select a conversation or channel from the list (or one of your starred channels) to view it. The thread opens in the same slide out panel, with a backward arrow at the top to return to the conversations list.

Message timestamps are displayed in the current user's local time zone.

You can add a new message to the channel/conversation by typing in the message field at the bottom. Click the paperclip to attach a file to your message.

Administrators also have the ability to edit or delete messages they have sent. Hover over the message, click the ... (ellipsis), then click Edit message or Delete message.
