Within Teamwork.com, you can customize the email addresses you use to post items such as tasks or messages to your projects.

Note: Only project administrators and above can edit post via email addresses.

In each of these five areas, you can edit the default email address by choosing the options button near the top right of the page and selecting one of the below:


Posting tasks to a project

To view the email address for tasks on your project, go to the project's Table or List area.

Click the options button (three dots) in the top right and select Post Tasks via Email from the dropdown menu.

In the post via email modal, click the Edit button to the right of the email address field.

Once you click edit, you will be able to modify the beginning of the email address.

Once you click Update, you can add tasks to your project using the new email address.

Note: The minimum character requirement is seven characters.


Posting to an individual task list

You can also update the individual email address for a task list. Click the three dots to the right of a task list name and click Advanced from the dropdown menu. Select the Post tasks via email option from the additional options.

Click the Edit button to the right of the task list email address field.

You can then edit the email address of the task list. You will only have an option to change the second part of the email, as the first part is set when you change the settings for the overall Post tasks via email option as above.

By updating the project and task list email addresses, it is much easier to remember the relevant address when interacting with tasks via email.

When viewing the Messages, Files, Links, or Notebooks tab of your project, click the three dots in the top right to access the post via email settings.
