Within Teamwork, you can
view the workload and capacity of individual
users via the Overview area.
Note: Viewing a user's
capacity is available on per-user Pro/Deliver
subscription plans and above.
To view the Overview, click the More option in the main navigation menu on the left of your site and select Planning.

In the Planning area, select the Overview tab from the horizontal menu.

The
Overview gives you
an overview of
your site's
resource
allocation based
on estimated time
on
tasks.
- Tasks
will only
appear in the
Overview if
they have
estimated time
set, and are
within the
date range set
by the
filter.
You can view a total of how many hours are
allocated over a chosen time period, per
person, project, or company.
User capacity column
You will need to set the sort option in the
top right to User in order to
see the total capacity column.

This column shows the user's
capacity in hours, the percentage of their
capacity already allocated, and a bar
representation of their capacity.
- The
hours displayed are based on the user's
set
working hours in their profile.
- A
user's capacity percentage is
determined
by the
estimated
time allocated to their assigned
tasks versus their working
hours.
- Users are
considered over capacity
when their total estimated
time for that day exceeds
their assigned
working
hours.

For
users that are currently under capacity,
the capacity bar will be highlighted in
blue. Anyone over capacity will be
red.
You can view a user's active tasks by
selecting the blue task count in the Tasks column. To view their completed tasks,
select the
green task count.
Both options will open a quick view
pane of the user's tasks where you will be
able
to see the task dates, task name, task
list, project, logged time, and estimated
time.
Notes
- Only tasks you have
permission to view will be
displayed.
- Only instances of repeating tasks that
have already been created will be
included. Future repeats that do not
yet exist will not be shown.

Tasks filtering
The tasks displayed for each
individual user can be filtered using
the main filters pane. Click
the filters button
in the top right to open the filters
pane.

You can filter by keyword,
project, assigned to, date, and
tags. Additional options
include:
- Include tasks due anytime - filter
will show tasks that are due anytime
in the future or past.
- Distribute estimated time - if a
task is assigned to multiple people
this will distribute the time across
these users.
- Pro-rata estimated time - if you have
a task with a start and due date
outside of your filter date then the
time will be spread over than
range.
- Include logged time in remaining
capacity - this will take into account
any time already logged on tasks when
calculating the remaining
capacity.
