Within Teamwork CRM, it is possible to
link an existing Teamwork.com task to
individual leads and opportunities.
To link a task, open a deal from one of
your lead or opportunity pipelines by
clicking the deal card.
Note: Only users with the
permission to create tasks in Teamwork.com will be able to use this
feature.
When viewing the lead or opportunity,
click the Add task option from the
left-hand menu.
The Add task modal will allow
you to select the project and
corresponding task list. Once a task
list is selected, you will see two tabs
for new and existing tasks. Select
the Existing tasks tab.
Note: If an existing task
list has no active tasks, you will not see the
existing tasks option.
All existing tasks will be
listed, and you can select one or
multiple tasks from the list. Using
the search field, you can also find tasks
by task name.
Once you have selected the appropriate
task(s), click Add
selected. The linked task(s) will then be
listed in the left-hand panel of the deal
page.
Click a task
name to open a quick view preview panel of the
task. From the preview panel, you can:
- Complete a task - click the tick icon the the left of the assignee name
- Open task in Teamwork.com - click Open task in the upper right-hand corner of the preview
- Comment - add comments to as task using the comment field
To mark a task as complete, click the tick icon next to the assignee name. This will complete the task in Teamwork.com.
In the tasks subsection you can choose to
hide or show completed tasks within each
associated task list using the toggle
option.
From the options menu (three dots) to the
right of each task, you can choose
to:
- Open the task in Teamwork.com.
- Disconnect the task from the
deal.
Within Teamwork.com, you can see when a deal is linked to a task via the task's details view. A CRM Deals section will be included at the bottom of the details pane on the left of the task details view.
