Within Teamwork CRM, you can link an
existing project from Teamwork.com to a
lead or opportunity.
To link a project, open a deal from
one of your lead or opportunity pipelines by
clicking the deal card.
When viewing the lead or
opportunity, click the options menu (three
dots) to the right of the deal name and select Add project.
You can also click Add
project from the Project subsection of
the left-hand panel.
In the Add project modal, select the Existing Project tab.
Using the scroll or search function,
locate the project you would like to attach.
When you select a project it will be
highlighted in blue. Click Add selected to link the project to your deal.
Company and contact sync
When linking an
existing project, the
company and contact associated
with the deal will also
automatically be added to your
Teamwork.com site. You can view them
in the Companies and People
subsections of the People
area.
- The CRM contact will be added as a contact of their associated company in Teamwork.com.
- The CRM contact will also be added as a contact on the project itself.
- If the contact associated with the deal is from a different company than the one linked to the deal, both companies will be added to Teamwork.com.
Viewing the linked project
To access the project from the deal, click the three dots
in the Project subsection of the
left-hand panel while viewing the deal and
select Open in Teamwork from
the dropdown menu.
To view the the associated project,
click the project name directly from the
Project section of the left-hand panel. A
quick view will open detailing the project's
overview.
To open the project in Teamwork.com, select Open project in the
top right corner of the quick
view.
