Within Teamwork CRM, you can create new Teamwork.com tasks for
individual leads and opportunities.
To create a task, open a deal from
one of your lead or opportunity
pipelines by
clicking the deal
card.
Note: Only users with the
permission to create tasks in Teamwork.com will be able to use this
feature.
When viewing the lead or
opportunity, click the Add task option
from the left-hand menu.
If the deal is already associated with a project, that project will be selected by default. If the deal has no associated project, you will need to select a destination project for the task.
Once a project is selected, you can choose a corresponding destination task list. If the selected task list has existing active tasks, two tabs for new and existing tasks will be displayed. Otherwise the form will focus on new tasks only.
When creating a new task to
associate with the deal, you will need to
enter:
- Task name
- Assignee
- Start date/ end date
Additional option include notify
assignee, add a task description, and add
priority. Click Save to create a
task.
Once the task has been created, you
will see it listed in the Tasks section of the
left-hand panel of the deal page.
Click a task
name to open a quick view of the
task. From the quick view panel, you can:
- Complete a task - click the checkmark icon to the the left of the assignee name to complete the task.
- Open the task in Teamwork.com - click Open task in the top right of the quick view.
- Comment - add comments to a task using the comment field.
To mark a task as complete from the side panel, click the checkmark icon next to the assignee name. This will complete the task in Teamwork.com.
You can choose to Hide
completed tasks or show completed
tasks from within the particular task list
using the toggle option.
From the options menu (three dots)
to the right of each task, you can choose
to:
- Open the task in Teamwork.com
- Disconnect the task from the deal
Within Teamwork.com, you can see when a deal is linked to a task via the task's details view. A CRM Deals section will be included at the bottom of the left sidebar.
Click the deal name to open the deal
in Teamwork CRM.
