Within Teamwork Chat, you can search
for words mentioned in any conversations or
channels you have access to.
Search is located in the top right
of the navigation bar.
Clicking into the search field will
open a pop-up modal allowing you to enter your
search term. Any recent search terms will also
be listed.
Once you have typed your search
term, the modal will display all matches
within the conversation or channel you are
currently viewing. Your search term will
be highlighted within each message
displayed.
You can sort the results by date or
relevance using the sort option.
Clicking the message text in the
results will take you directly to that
point in the
conversation.
To the right of your results,
further filtering options are
available:
- Search in - choose a different
conversation or channel to
search from the dropdown
list
- You can also choose to search all
channels
- Author - the user that created the
message
- From date
- To date
- Option
- Only messages with
attachment
Your recent searches will also be
displayed.
