Within Teamwork Chat, you can reply to messages in channels and direct conversations to communicate with your team.
To create your reply, use the text field located at the bottom of a conversation.
You can extend the text field using the expand option located to the right of the bar. This will open a larger text area for longer messages in a separate window.
In the expanded view, you also have a preview tab that allows you to see the output of any markdown you have used when writing your message. This preview will reflect how the message will be displayed in Teamwork Chat once sent.
In the edit view, you have the option to add a file to your message, and make use of the emoji picker.
Further options include the use of a gif picker, which will allow you to search and browse gifs before selecting one to add to your chat message.
You can also use media links, such as Giphy and YouTube. These will display directly in your message.
