Within Teamwork.com, you can add reminders to
events being added to the calendar and choose
who should receive them.
Reminders can be sent by email, SMS (there is
no charge for this service) or mobile
push.
A mobile push reminder will show on your
mobile device if you have the Teamwork.com app
installed. You will get a pop-up notification
like any other app notification. The mobile
apps can be downloaded for iOS or Android.
Select the Reminders tab when creating
or editing an event and click the Add
a Reminder button.
A reminder entry will be added to
the tab where you can set the notification
type and how far in advance of the event the
reminder should be sent.
- Type - email, SMS, mobile
push.
- Time - x minutes, hours, days, or
weeks before the event.
Existing reminders can be removed from this view by clicking the red icon to the right of the relevant reminder.
Reminders will be sent to any
attendees (selected in the event's People
list) with the reminder option enabled.
SMS reminders
To receive SMS reminders for events, you
will need to enter your mobile number in your
user profile:
- Click your profile avatar in the bottom left of your site and select Edit my details from the pop-out menu.
- In the user details modal,
go to the Details tab and enter
your cell/mobile number. You will need to
include the country code, excluding any
leading zeros in the country code and area
code as outlined below.
