Within the Teamwork.com Beta
Program, you can
enable the clock in/clock out feature
to
allow
your users to log their hours at work.
Enable clock in/out
🔑 Owner
company
site
administrators can access site
settings and manage Beta Program
features.
- Click your profile icon in
Teamwork.com's
main navigation menu.
- Select Settings.
- Switch to the Beta Program tab.
- Scroll to Clock In/Out.
- Toggle on the switch
on the left.
- Choose who can use the feature: owner company only or all users on your site.📝 Enabling for all users gives users (including client users) in external/client companies access to the feature. Collaborators cannot use clock in/out.
Once enabled in the Beta
Program, Clock In/Out is listed as an
option in each approved user's profile
menu.

- Click your profile icon in
Teamwork.com's main navigation
menu.
- Select Clock
in.
A timer
icon is be displayed beside your
profile
icon. To clock out, select
your profile
icon
and click Clock
Out.
View

Below the graph, you can view a log
of
each of your clocked time periods.
This section displays the times you
clocked in and
out,
as well as the total clocked time
hours
for each day and week.
If you clock in/out multiple
times in a single day, a separate
entry is created for each period.
Click
the
arrow beside the date to expand and
see
all the entries.
A bar representing the

in period highlighted in blue. Hover
over a blue bar to see the exact time
period.
The clock ins compare the length of
day
set in your profile
localization
preferences to the time period you are
clocked in.
- Clock-in entries exceeding the length of day (user's working hours), a red clock icon () is displayed beside the time entry. Hover over this to see the amount of extra clocked-in time.
- Any entries with notes display a
note icon () on the
date's right. Hover over to view
the attached note.
Edit a
clock in
entry
- Scroll to a clock in
entry.
- Click the ellipsis (...) on the entry date's left. For days with multiple clock ins, click the arrow on the day total's right. Select the ellipsis (...) dots on an individual entry's left or click the corresponding blue bar.
- Select Edit.💡 Quick edit: Scroll to the relevant clock-in entry and click the timestamp.
- Update the entry's details (date, start/end time, duration, notes).
- Click Update.
Delete a
clock in entry
To delete a clock in entry, click
the three dots on the entry's left
and select Delete.
Click OK to
confirm.
You will then be asked to confirm you
want to proceed with deleting the
entry.
Export
your clock in history
- Click the ellipsis (...) at the top
right of the clock-ins
list.
- Select Export to
Excel.
View
other
users' clock in
history
Users with permission to manage
people
and companies can view
other
users' clock-in history
via their
profile's Time tab.
They can't see
individual
time entries logged on
projects/tasks
unless they have permission
to view other
people's
time on each
associated
project.
