Within Teamwork Projects, you can enable markdown for your site, so that text in comments and messages can be formatted using markdown code.
Markdown is a type of code that allows you to format text using characters directly within the text. For example, an asterisk either side of a word or phrase *like this* will be interpreted in markdown as italic text. You can find lots of details about markdown syntax here.
You can choose to enable or disable markdown in your site settings.
Click your profile icon in the top right of your site, and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
In the Settings area, go to the General tab.
Here you will see an option to toggle Use Markdown on or off:
People on your site can also choose to format their comments and messages with markdown rather than the HTML editor. This option is available in everyone's profile preferences.
