Within Teamwork.com, you can enable Markdown to allow you to perform basic formatting within your plain text when creating a notebook in place of the default editor.

⚠️ It is not possible to create notebooks via Markdown using the Beta Notebooks editor (available to some Teamwork.com accounts).

Markdown example

*I have emphasis* = I have emphasis
**
I have strong emphasis** = I have strong emphasis

Note: The editor type default is based on the type used in the last created notebook. If you click the Add a Notebook button instead of using the dropdown options, a notebook will automatically create using the default editor.

The Markdown editor will open where you can set a title and description. You can use the main editor area to add your notebook contents.

Click the Create Notebook button at the bottom of the editor to save your notebook.
