Before you start
You can set up automatic time tracking to
Teamwork.com in two
ways:
Ticket level: Choose how
each ticket logs its time.
Company level: Apply the
same destination to all tickets from a
company.
Tip
Choose ticket level for
flexibility when the destination
depends on ticket details. Choose company level for consistency
across all tickets from a
company.

How it works
The table shows how time tracking works
at ticket level and company level.
Option | Ticket level | Company
level |
---|---|---|
Linked task | Logs time to the
ticket’s linked task. If multiple
tasks are linked, the
agent chooses one. | Logs all company
tickets to the linked
task. If the task is
deleted, logging
pauses. |
Keep in mind
- Changing the task only
affects future logs.
Existing logs stay where they were
unless moved manually.
- If a linked task is
deleted, logging pauses until you
choose a new one.
