Comparison of time logging options at Ticket vs Company level
Option
Ticket level
Company level
Linked task
Logs time to the ticket’s linked task.
If multiple tasks are linked, the agent chooses one.
Logs all company tickets to the linked task.
If the task is deleted, logging pauses.
Keep in mind
  • Changing the task only affects future logs. Existing logs stay where they were unless moved manually.
  • If a linked task is deleted, logging pauses until you choose a new one.
