Within Teamwork CRM, you can follow individual leads and opportunities to keep up to date with changes.

When following items, you will receive updates via your notification bell each time a change occurs on the item. You can also enable email notifications in your profile preferences.

By default, you will be added as a follower of all changes for items you own.

While viewing a deal or activity, click the eye icon at the top of the details pane on the left. If you are not currently following the item, the eye icon will have a line through it.

A dropdown will open where you can either choose to follow the item or manage the existing followers.

Following

When you click the follow option, you will automatically be added as a follower of all changes on the item. You can also update your preference to follow only activities or status changes.

  • All changes - be notified of any changes to the deal:
    • Edits to default and custom fields
    • Status changes
    • Timeline items (notes, files, activities) - added, edited, marked as complete or incomplete
  • Activities - be notified of any activities added, edited, or marked as complete or incomplete on the item.
  • Status - be notified of any changes to the status of the item (qualified, won, lost, reopened).



Unfollowing

To unfollow a deal or adjust the updates you receive, click the eye icon and select the Following button. you can then click the Unfollow button in the pop-out or change your preference.

Managing followers

You can also manage followers on individual items and adjust which other users are set as followers. Click the eye icon and select Manage from the dropdown.

In the Followers modal, you can use the checkboxes to the left of each user to select whose preferences to update. The follow options dropdown will then appear to the right of each selected user where you can apply individual preferences.

You can also bulk edit the follow settings for all users by clicking the Set all option near the top right of the modal.

Click the green Save button at the bottom of the modal to apply your changes.

The selected followers will then be visible in the Follow dropdown along with their individual preference.
