Integromat enables you to automate your processes and communication between different applications and services, transferring and transforming data without the need for manual input.
Using Integromat allows you to connect Teamwork to any service in Integromat's list of supported apps and services, allowing you to create multi-step integrations.
By creating scenarios that will watch for new data in one app or service, you can then set up triggers for Integromat to run in another app.
Within Integromat, you can use the scenario template to set up scenarios between Teamwork and Slack to send a message in a Slack channel when a task is created in Teamwork.
Click the green Create new scenario from template button in the bottom left of the template window.
In step 1, click the Add button to the right of the Connection field to authorize your Teamwork account using your API key and domain. If you already have a connection set up, you can select it from the dropdown.
Once you have selected a Teamwork account, you will be able to choose to post tasks from all projects or a specific one. When an individual project is selected, you can choose a specific task list. If left blank, all task lists in the project will be included.
Click the blue Continue button at the bottom of the window, then choose where you would like the scenario to start. Click OK to proceed to the next step of the setup.
In Step 2, click the Add button to the right of the connection field and click Continue in the pop-out to authorize your Slack account. If you already have a connection set up, you can select it from the dropdown.
Once connected, you will then need to set a specific channel ID or name. You can also customize the text of the message that will be sent, including task properties. Click Continue to complete the scenario setup.
Click the Save button in the Controls section of the navigation menu at the bottom of the screen. You can then use the blue play button to run the scenario once or turn the scheduling switch on and set up an interval for the scenario to run.
When the scenario runs, it will pick up new tasks created in the selected project(s) and submit the details to the channel in Slack.
