Within Teamwork Chat, you can use commands to
perform various actions to speed up daily
tasks such as setting your status or turning
on do not disturb.
These additional action commands can
be accessed by
first typing
/
in the
message field in a conversation or
channel. Some of the commands enable you
to take actions relating to the
channel
you
are in, while others allow you to
control
settings for your own profile.

video calls using Teamwork Chat.

Examples
Updating your status
When you type the / command, you
can select status as the command
option.
Once /status is
typed in the message area,
you can follow it with an emoji and/or
text.
Click send to apply your new
status. A message will be sent in the
channel confirming the update. This
message will only be visible to
you.
When you click your profile avatar,
you will see your status has been
updated.
Creating a video call
To create a video call, type the / command and
select
call as the command option.
Once /call is
typed in the message area,
you can follow it with a call
title.
Click the send message option to
create
the call entry.
A message will be sent in the
channel with the created call. This
message will only be visible to
you. In
order for other channel members to see the
call, you will need to click
the Join option. The call
session will open in
a new browser tab.
An additional message will then be
sent in the channel with the call details,
giving all channel members the option to
join.
