Within Teamwork Projects, once an invoice has been created in a project, you can export to a number of different formats and destinations.

When you are viewing an invoice (it can be open or complete), you will see the option to export it at the bottom.



The export options are:

  • Export to PDF: Generates a PDF version of the invoice.
  • Export to HTML: Generates the invoice in a HTML format.
  • Export to Excel: Generates an excel version of the invoice.
  • Export to Freshbooks: Export to Freshbooks, the initial integration with Freshbooks must be enabled in the settings tab in the upper right of your installation (this is only accessible by an administrator in the owner company). Choose to connect to Freshbooks and you will be asked to authenticate, once authenticated, then you will be asked from within the project where you want the invoice to go.
  • Export to Harvest: Along with the option to integrate with Harvest and track your time directly in Harvest, there is also the option to export an invoice created in Teamwork Projects to your Harvest account. Select the Export option at the bottom of the invoice, choose Harvest, and you will be asked to authenticate your Harvest details; once authenticated you can export your invoice to Harvest.
  • Export to Blinksale: You can export an invoice created in Teamwork to your Blinksale account. Select the Export option at the bottom of the invoice, choose Blinksale and you will be asked to authenticate your Harvest details, once authenticated you can export your invoice to Blinksale.
  • Export to Quickbooks Online: You can export an invoice created in Teamwork Projects to your Quickbooks Online account. Select the Export option at the bottom of the invoice, choose Quickbooks Online, and you will be asked to authenticate your Quickbooks online details. Once authenticated, you can export your invoice to Quickbooks Online.
  • Export to Xero file: From the invoice created in your Billing section, you can choose to export to Xero; this generates a file that can in turn be imported into Xero. It is generated in the form that Xero accepts.
