Make enables you to automate your processes and communication between different applications and services, transferring and transforming data without the need for manual input.

Using Make allows you to connect Teamwork.com to any service in Make's list of supported apps and services, allowing you to create multi-step integrations.

By creating scenarios that will watch for new data in one app or service, you can then set up triggers for Make to run in another app.

Within Make, you can use the pre-defined scenario templates to set up scenarios between Teamwork.com and other third-party platforms.

In the following example, Teamwork.com and Slack are connected to send a message in a Slack channel when a task is created in Teamwork.com.

Go to the Templates section of your Make account and use the search field in the top right to filter to both Teamwork and Slack. Select the template from the results list.

Once you have selected a Teamwork.com account, you will be able to choose to post tasks from all projects or a specific one. When an individual project is selected, you can choose a specific task list. If left blank, all task lists in the project will be included.

In Step 2, click the Add button to the right of the connection field and click Continue in the pop-out to authorize your Slack account. If you already have a connection set up, you can select it from the dropdown.

Once connected, you will then need to set a specific channel ID or name. You can also customize the text of the message that will be sent, including task properties. Click OK to complete the scenario setup.

Click the Save button in the Controls section of the navigation menu at the bottom of the screen. You can then use the blue play button to run the scenario once or turn the scheduling switch on and set up an interval for the scenario to run.

When the scenario runs, it will pick up new tasks created in the selected project(s) and submit the details to the channel in Slack.
