Within Teamwork, you can log time on your projects using the Teamwork iOS app.
Logging time using the Logged Time menu
Tap the menu icon (three lines) on the top left of your screen, then go to the Logged Time option at the bottom of the menu.
Tap the options menu in the top right of the screen and select the + to add a new time log.
From here you can choose the details for the time log entry:
- Start Time
- End Time
- Time Spent
- Assign the time log entry to a specific project
- Assign the time log entry to a user
- Assign the time log entry to a specific task
- Add a tag
- Mark the time as billable or non-billable
When you click Save in the top right, you will see your entry at the top of the logged time page.
Logging time via the Task Details view
When viewing the task details for an individual task, click the options (three dots) button in the top right corner.
Select the stopwatch icon to start a timer for that task.
A timer will start at the bottom of the screen, tracking the time on the current/selected task.
Stop the timer by tapping it, and selecting the pause icon. The time can then be logged by selecting the cloud icon. You may also delete the current timer using the trash can icon.
Enter the details for the time log, and select save.
Logging time when on a project page
When you click the Projects menu from the sidebar and select an individual project, you will have an option in the project's home menu items to log time.
Alternatively, you can start a timer by selecting the options (three dots) button in the top right and selecting the timer icon from the dropdown.
Logging time via the + in the main menu sidebar
Open the main menu sidebar by tapping the three lines to the top left of the screen.
Tap on the + icon at the bottom of the menu.
In the pop up menu, select Time Log to log your time entry.
