The project chart gives you a "Gantt" style view of your projects, highlighting any milestones on the project timeline.

Note - only projects with start and end dates will show on the chart.

To show the project chart, add start and end dates to at least 2 projects and make sure that the date filter on the right includes the project timeframe. You can use the filter to narrow down which projects are shown on the chart, and also which milestones are shown:

The bar for each project will be coloured based on the status of the project:
  • Red : This means that the project end date has been reached but there are uncompleted items in the project. The project is considered late.
  • Green: The project has been marked as complete.
  • Blue: The end date has not been reached and the project is considered 'current'.
If you hover over the project bar, you'll see more project details and an option to edit the start and end dates directly:

The markers for milestones are also colour coded based on whether they are complete (green), late (red) or upcoming (orange) and if you hover over each milestone, you'll see more details and a quick view option (if there's more than one milestone due on the same date, you'll see them all listed here):

Using quick view, you can view and edit the milestone directly without leaving the project chart screen.

In the project list on the left, you'll see the category colour to the far left, and you can access the project options menu to make changes without leaving the project chart:

You can also use the arrows to the right of the project name to automatically scroll and zoom to that project on the chart.
